GREAT LITTLE PERFORMER The Reliable 1500FR can cut from a single ply of fabric right up to 1″ high, making it a very versatile, lightweight machine. Perfect for sample making or other light-duty operations.
IDEAL FOR SMALL CUTS The combination of the octagonal blade, with carbide tipped and spring loaded lower blade, prevents the fabric from jamming. An extra thin base plate and light die cast design make the 1500FR a pleasure to operate.
OCTAGONAL BLADE The octagonal blade has a better cutting edge for a variety of fabrics, including plastics. Being octagonal, it will not pull the fabric in, giving the operator better control.
VERSATILE CUTTER The 1500FR will cut of up to 1 inch in height and can handle a wide range of materials including light cotton/polyester right up to heavy denim and canvas.
AUTOMATIC SHARPENER Nothing makes cutting fabric easier than a sharp blade. The 1500FR’s automatic sharpener guarantees a sharp edge on every cut.
POWERFUL AC MOTOR The 1500FR cuts like a champ with its powerful AC motor, allowing you to cut through up to 1″ of material.
CARBIDE TIPPED COUNTER BLADE The counter blade reduces the amount of sharpening required, lengthens the life of the blade, and reduces pull of the fabric.
FRONT KNIFE GUARD An adjustable front knife guard is used to ensure the operator’s safety by simply raising and lowering it.
SIDE KNIFE GUARD The fixed side knife guard safety feature ensures the operator is protected at all times.
EXTRA THIN BASE PLATE The lightweight aluminum base plate is extra thin to allow for a precise and smooth cutting experience.
