Description
This is an Ametek Vacuum Motor for your Budd 1914P and your Budd 1914S, 120 volt.
This motor is more powerful and all metal for longer service life.
This vacuum uses 2 motors. You may want to replace both motors at the same time as Ametek motors are designed to operate up to 600 hours before they need replacing. If one motor has failed the other will most likely fail shortly there after. It is much easier to replace them both now and save time, money and effort.
It is suggested you replace the motor gasket part #MTR511.
Uses motor brushes part MTR507.
Installation note:
Over-tightening of the mounting screws may cause the fan casing to push into the fan blades and may damage the fans. This situation is not covered under the Motor Warranty Program and will not be approved if submitted. If motor is turned in under warranty and is found to have the type of damage explained above, the warranty will be denied. When mounting your new motor, in most cases a touch BEYOND “finger tight” is all that is required to mount and seat the motor sufficiently.
